Never mind

"I made a comment about how I disliked daycare, and "Don't have them , if you won't raise them".

This comment unfortunately could be taken from almost anywhere of course it was from a bulletin board of mom's all having their babies in November. It was actually an I'm sorry post that basically says I'm sorry but I do hate daycare and think everyone should be a SAHM.

I was going to post about how enraging this was to me but I am happy to say I got over it pretty quickly. After all what do I care - I know why I made my choices and become more comfortable with them daily. So why bother getting upset about ignorant people who can't respect that you can make an array of choices for your family and children that work out even if everyone doesn't make the same choice.

I am glad you were able to get past this. I don't know that I could have kept my mouth shut.

Jen a good friend of mine taught me a new phrase the other day and I just love it and I thought I would pass it on to you. Actually in your field you have probably used some version of it......."Who owns this problem?"

It's a great question that really puts things in perspective I think. Someone else's inability to see any choice other than their own is a problem that only they and they alone can own. I for one think you are stellar and love you and feel the need to remind you that someone else's insecurities and need to assert their descision as the only correct one, should never make you question your own choices cause you rock sista friend. Not only that but anyone small minded enough to think that they have all the answers doesn't deserve one second of your awesome energy. Sap out!
